Have you had enough, or would you like more confessions from a top hotel and travel PR agency maven?
Here goes, and let me hear what you love!
1. Black out curtains so you can sleep in after a transcontinental flight.
2. That breakfast buffet that goes on literally forever. (Once in Thailand I saw people grabbing buns and ham and stuffing them in their pockets for a quick snack for later!)
3. Borrowing a beautiful, big umbrella if there’s a threat of drizzle.
4. The Bose sound system already tuned to the local public radio station.
5. Oh, once at the Charles Hotel on Harvard Square there was a book concierge who would zip out to the Harvard Co-op to get you just the book of your liking.
6. The jogging path map – although I only walk, its nice to see where they send you in Regent’s Park or Central Park.
7. Getting the butler to gear up the TV with a movie.
8. Calling the front desk and, after deciding I don’t like a movie five minutes in, asking for a credit with the excuse that I ordered it accidentally.
9. Sending my dresses out immediately for a quick pressing.
10. Well, there’s nothing better than breakfast in bed. I always do it. Like Eloise at the Plaza.
Hopefully you want to hear more, because there is more to come on what I love about luxury hotels!
