I was recently reading an article in Wallpaper about Louis Vuitton’s “Travel Books” that explores the artistry behind luxury travel. The haute fashion house teamed up with artists Jean-Phillipe Delhomee, Congolese artist Cheri Samba, Natsko Seki and Daniel Arsham to illustrate cities that are not their own. This is a terrific luxury travel accessory and is an interesting take on the art of “traveling well”!

NYC PR Firm’s Art of Traveling Well

The Buddha so eloquently stated: “It is better to travel well than to arrive” and I couldn’t agree more. Luxury travel is all about experience and often the most stressful part of travel is simply getting there.

When working with Erik Lindbergh, great-grandson of American aviator and pioneer Charles Lindbergh to promote the Lindbergh Jet Card launch, our agency discovered a new way of traveling well with ease. The card allows users the ability to charter any available aircraft in the world with simply an email to confirm the booking.

Creating an experiential luxury offering is one of the hallmarks of great luxury brands.  Louis Vuitton did this well with their “Travel Books” and also gave users a sense of wanderlust with their ad campaign featuring notable filmmakers and musicians in far-off locations. The luggage is, of course, in the photos, but often off to the side, in a subtle nod to the fashion house. These luxury travel accessories have become synonymous with the art of traveling well.

Please join us as we continually develop our own “art of travel” and paint the lush landscapes, vibrant vistas, and sublime sunsets of the travel world.
