Book “The Singular Pilgrim” Provides Inspiration for Trip
Ever since I read The Singular Pilgrim, by Rosemary Mahoney, I wanted to visit Varanasi in Northern India. That book captured my imagination, and when our travel PR client Indus Travels, a leader in planning small group trips to India, wanted to plan a press trip there, I encouraged the founder, Praveen Syal, to make Varanasi an essential stop on the itinerary.

Visiting Sacred Varanasi on Press Trip by NYC PR Firm
No one could prepare me for what was to come in Varanasi, the holiest of cities in all of India. Dating back to 2500 B.C., Varanasi is the home of the renowned ghats — steps leading down into the river Ganges, where it is said if you die there you will be released from the cycle of birth and rebirth and attain liberation.

Splendor of the Taj Mahal: Press Trip Hosted by NYC PR Firm
It was the most breathtaking moment when the Taj first came into view through an archway. Luminous in late afternoon pinkish glow. More beautiful in perfect symmetry and proportion than I could have possibly imagined. I gasped and ahhh’d and it took my breath away, as it did over the next three hours we spent taking this monument to love unparralled in any built form I’ve ever laid eyes on and maybe ever will.
